Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions form the agreement between CC Training Academy and the learner enrolling on any VTCT accredited or non-VTCT training course. By enrolling, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
Enrolment and Eligibility
Learners must be at least 18 years old (or 16+ where specified).
Entry requirements vary by course and may include prior requisites, qualifications, or relevant experience.
The Centre reserves the right to refuse enrolment if entry requirements are not met or if the learner’s conduct is deemed unsuitable for a professional learning environment.
Course Booking and Payment
• A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required on enrolment to secure a place.
• Full course fees must be paid within 14 days of the course start date, unless a written payment plan is agreed.
• Payment plans are granted at the Centre’s discretion and must be followed strictly.
• Payments may be made via card, bank transfer, or approved finance provider.
• Non-payment or late payment may result in suspension or removal from the course.
CC Training Academy offers the option to pay for courses using Klarna, clearpay or instalment plans offered by the centre, allowing learners to split payments into instalments or defer payment as per credit terms. When choosing Klarna or clearpay, the agreement is made between the learner and lender . The learner must comply with credit terms and approval process.
The Centre is not responsible for credit decisions, approval times, or payment collections, unless agreed with centre’s payment option. Course enrolment is only confirmed once the initial credit transaction has been successfully processed. In cases where a credit payment or instalment fails, the learner remains fully responsible for paying the outstanding balance directly to the centre. Standard cancellation, refund, and administrative fee terms still apply when payment is made through credit lenders.
Course Fees, Refunds, and Administrative Charges
All fees are clearly stated prior to booking. Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances. Once a learner has attended any session, accessed materials or received online login details, no refunds will be issued. Refunds are only considered if the centre cancels, exceptional circumstances (where evidence is shown) or if there is a significantly alter to a course.
Cancellations by learners will incur a 25% administrative fee, deducted from any refund due (where applicable). If a learner fails to attend or complete the course, all fees remain payable in full. If a course is postponed, learners will be offered an alternative date or a credit transfer.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations or reschedule requests must be made in writing at least 14 days before the start date. Requests received after this time will not be eligible for a part refund. The centre reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative date or refund will be offered.
Course Delivery and Attendance
Learners must attend all sessions and complete the required theory and practical outcomes. Persistent lateness or absence may result in missed assessments that will incur additional fees for re-assessments. Learners must wear appropriate uniform, and bring equipment if required. Professional behaviour and presentation must be maintained at all times.
Class timings may be subject to change, the centre reserves the right to alter them as deemed necessary.
Dress Code and Professional Standards
To uphold CC Training Academy and VTCT standards, learners must adhere to the following dress code:
• Wear a training tunic showcasing professional industry attire
• No jeans, hoodies, or casual wear are permitted.
• Long nails, nail extensions, or excessive jewellery are not allowed during practical sessions for health and safety reasons.
• Hair should be neatly tied back (preferably in a bun) and personal hygiene maintained.
• Learners not adhering to the dress code may be refused participation in practical training until corrected.
Assessment and Certification
Assessments are conducted in accordance with the centre, VTCT and internal quality assurance standards. All practical and theory elements must be completed to the required standard before certification can be requested.Certification is issued by VTCT and can take up to 12 weeks after successful completion of the course. Certificates will not be released if fees are outstanding or if evidence requirements are incomplete.
Deferrals and Extensions
Deferral or extension requests must be made in writing and are subject to approval and a possible administration fee. Supporting evidence (e.g., medical certificate) may be required. Deferrals cannot exceed six months from the original start date.
Conduct and Dismissal
The Centre operates a zero-tolerance policy for rudeness, discrimination, harassment, or breaches of health and safety. Learners engaging in misconduct may be dismissed without a refund. Mobile phones must not disrupt sessions. Repeated lateness or non-engagement may result in removal from the course.
Data Protection and Privacy
Learner data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR. Information may be shared with VTCT for registration, assessment, and certification purposes. Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
Intellectual Property
All content and course manuals, downloadable sources, digital learning materials and resources remain the property of CC Training Academy and must not be copied, distributed, or shared without written permission. Upon enrolment learners are granted a non-transferable license to use the course materials solely for personal educational purposes related to the course undertaken.
CC Training Academy reserves the right to retain copies for quality assurance, VTCT inspection and regulatory compliance.
Complaints and Appeals
Learners may raise concerns using the Complaints Policy available on request and onsite. Concerns or complaints about the course must formally be notified in writing within 48 hours. CC Training Academy will investigate and endeavour to address concerns. Any complaints received after course completion will be used as feedback for improvement and development purposes only, no refund or course transfers will be eligible. All appeals against assessment outcomes must follow the centres internal and VTCT Appeals Procedure.
Liability
The Centre accepts limited liability for loss, damage, or injury on its premises unless caused by proven negligence. Students are advised against bringing jewellery, valuables, or cash as the centre cannot be held responsible for any loss. The use of a secure locker on site is available onsite for small items.
Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling and submitting payment, the learner confirms agreement to these Terms and Conditions set out by CC Training Academy.
