Our founder, Charlene Carr, brings over 14 years of experience teaching in Further Education Colleges, supported by more than 20 years of industry expertise. Having studied at the London College of Fashion, Charlene developed a strong foundation in professional beauty and industry standards that continue to shape the academy's commitment to excellence.
Combining her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualifications, Charlene's expertise extends far beyond classroom teaching. Throughout her career, she has successfully led teaching, learning and assessment initiatives, mentored educators, and facilitated the sharing of outstanding teaching practices across a wide range of departments within the education sector.
